Celebration

Celebration is an essential part of recovery. It calls the community's attention to the fact that recovery is possible and it reinforces the commitment of those in recovery to continue the practices that worked for them.

DC Recovery celebrates recovery in the nation's capital with:

• the 2007-2011 Rallies for Recovery, held in September of each year.

• 2009-2011 Faith Partners Prayer Breakfasts

• 2007-2011 Nationals Baseball Outings

• publicity for other organizations' celebrations on our Events pages

• collaboration with Alcohol-Free DC, a social networking group.

Our latest effort was planning and producing the 2012 Rally for Recovery, featuring the Washington Area Music Award-winning Billy Coulter Band.
