DC Recovery currently has two major service projects:
Taking 12-Step Meetings to the DC Jail

Several DC Recovery members have gone through background checks and training and are now "badged" and can serve as escorts for meeting leaders.
DC Recovery has negotiated permission for people in recovery to take meetings into the DC Jail.
Providing Recovery Coaching services
DC Recovery has been certified as an Access to Recovery service provider by the DC Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration.
DC Recovery also offers Recovery Coaching to the residents of the Langston Apartments complex.
DC Recovery has trained two classes of Recovery Coaches and plans to hold more classes in January 2013. To register for the course, click on the item in the Events block in the left-hand column of this page or call 202-393-3272.
